Police are investigating a handbag robbery involving two men in Mildura earlier this month.

Mildura Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a robbery involving two men in Mildura earlier this month. Police have been told a 57-year-old female was walking north along Vidovic Avenue about 8pm on Friday 15 September when she was passed by two men walking in the opposite direction. After the men walked past, it is alleged that one of them grabbed her handbag causing the bag to tear and contents to fall onto the ground. He then picked up the bag and both men have then run north on Vidovic Avenue towards The Boulevard. No injuries were reported in this incident. The man who grabbed the woman’s bag was perceived to be in his 20s, about 185cm tall, with an olive complexion, a thin build and sharp facial features including a long skinny nose.
