I'm really sorry this girl did what she did, but my god, people, is this what GIRLS in NYC are really like? I watch GIRLS on HBO and I have to admit, this girl sounds like the heroin addict who married the millionaire only to discover that he was a total jerk to begin with. The part about the girls who can't come to her funeral is downright creepy. If these shows and this kind of NYC life-style is really what it's all about, I'll take Kansas; At least a "Dorothy"-like life in the desert has a little hope in it. These GIRLS of NYC are so neurotic and co-dependant that modeling a life-style after them could be seen as a recipe for disaster to anyone with normal gray matter.
