Whilst I think it was brave of her and admire her for standing up to someone like this, was it really worth it in the end for "four bottles of alcohol"? She's got a broken wrist and damaged ligaments, which will impair her in caring for her husband and will require lots of physio appointments when it comes out of its cast, time she wouldn't otherwise have had to spend travelling to and waiting at hospital. She's in pain and bruised all over and you don't know what could come later as a result of being knocked over on her back. He's got 20 weeks. I suppose that's something, better than the usual slap on the wrist, but how long will he really serve?
