Indoor gardening maintanence - PurseForum

Hi, I've got 6 aerogardens that I grow lettuce and peppers and herbs in (yes I make some of the most expensive produce on earth). I chose an indoor/aerogarden setup because I thought it would be maintenance free, not having to water often and because I heard the plants grow faster. My lettuce and herbs grow prodigiously, but my peppers are very very slow growers, the plants themselves are growing pretty well, but self polination and development of the peppers isn't always successful. Since they don't get as strong of light as they would outside I'm wondering if cutting them down so they concentrate their energy on making only a few peppers makes sense. Of course I wouldn't get to see the nice flower buds, but would I actually get real developed peppers? One other thing to mention is that they are Bhut Jolokias. Kind of rare and slow growing anyway.
