I’m also the kind of person who ends hauling by handbag around at inappropriate moments. In these photos, Williams is clutching her giant Chanel Classic Flap while on stage to speak at the New York AIDS Walk, which is one of those situations in which people who plan ahead have a friend hold their bag. Instead, Wendy’s got hers sitting on her lap like it’s a toddler, which is a position that I have to remind myself not to take when I’m in front of others who don’t know me well. In short, Wendy may look like a crazy person here, but it’s the kind of crazy with which I can identify and even sympathize.
