NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Watch and handbag maker Fossil Inc. /quotes/zigman/64609 /quotes/nls/fosl FOSL +11.43% shares rose 9% in early afternoon trading on Friday to become the biggest gainer in the S&P 500. Despite the gain, the stock still has lost more than a third of its value since its 52 week high in April on concern about its Asian and European businesses.
