At least if you’re talking about the runway show. The bags are anything but frivolous and fancy-free! If you ask me, Pre-Spring ought not feel all light and airy – save that for the actual Spring/Summer collections – and Mr. Lagerfeld seems to agree. From grained deep-red leather to quilted blue jersey fabric, this is Chanel at their most quintessential, with a few exciting twists.
