$30,000 In Louis Vuitton Handbags Stolen From Green Hills Mall

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Over $30,000 in handbags were stolen from the Louis Vuitton store in Green Hills Mall. Police said the robbery occurred just before8 p.m. on Thursday. It was estimated that the suspect got away with anywhere from $25,000 and $30,000 worth of merchandise. According to officials, a suspect or suspects went into the store inside Green Hills mall and grabbed the bags. While fleeing the scene, one of the suspects lost a shoe and when police searched the parking garage they were able to locate a person without both shoes and apprehended him immediately. The suspect's name has not been released. Police were not able to recover the stolen purses. They believed that another suspect got away with them. Anyone with information about this crime was asked to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
