PARIS — Being parachuted into the tail end of Paris Fashion Week is daunting. For decades, I’ve experienced these weeks from top to bottom. But this go around, due to previous commitments, I only had the opportunity to take in the last few days — dropping in on an arena where tongues love to wag, and filled with exhausted arbiters who’ve been running around to various fashion weeks for the past month.
