I think the syrup/ sauce might have overpowered the panna cotta a little too much *it was already very sweet and creamy on its own), and the overall flavors overwhelmed me *the sauce was real sweet- was expecting it to be on the tarty side*, but once I isolated the panna cotta itself from the syrup-y sweetness of its neighbors, it was all good. I can't expect this to be the restaurant's best though and it's totally understandable-- the restaurant is known for its meat, not for its dessert.
