Art is yesterday's news for Marc Jacobs, as @LouisVuitton plan to align themselves with a new creative industry...

Louis Vuitton have already successfully aligned themselves with the art world after the sell-out Yayoi Kusama collection, but now the French fashion house has its sights set on the literary scene, just before the Booker Prize is announced too. In the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, the literary quarter of Paris where authors Jean-Paul Satre and Ernest Hemingway were just some of the writers to frequent this area, a pop-up Vuitton exhibition will launch this Thursday honouring the area’s literary roots. The L’Ecriture est un Voyage ( “Writing is a Journey ”) show will display artwork and a selection of books to a theme of writing and travelling, open to the public until the end of the year, WWD revealed.
