Abandoned baby with umbilical cord still attached miraculously survives chilly Texas night in a handbag

dreadful news. appalling to think people can actually leave the flesh and blood on the streets like this. but who are we to judge when we do not the mother's circumstances or reasons? this baby may have been the baby of a rape victim who was unable to live with the child in her life? perhaps this baby would have been brought up in an unsafe environment if she'd kept him? perhaps baby was unexpected and mother was not in a position to bring the child up herself? perhaps she was homeless? i still think it's wrong, but it's not our place to judge what we do not know. i, personally, could never do that. for all we know, she did this with the hopes her baby boy would have a much better upbringing in life, and i really do hope the beautiful little boy does x
