Louis Vuitton's CEO has been forced to exit, after just one month, due to medical reasons:

18 December 2012 Ella Alexander Picture credit: GoRunway JORDI CONSTANS has been forced to step down from his position as Louis Vuitton CEO after just one month, due to medical reasons. He will be replaced by former Bulgari CEO and long-standing LVMH employee Michael Burke, who will start his new role tomorrow. "His condition does not allow him to fulfil his duties as (space) CEO," said Antoine Arnault, a member of the board of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton and son of the luxury giant's chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault. "We wish Jordi all the best." According to WWD , Constans' condition is not life-threatening, but it does prevent him from meeting the physical demands of the job - which involves overseeing 450 stores around the world and helping to ensure the label's profits are constantly high.
