A 52-year-old woman had her handbag stolen from her car while she was waiting at traffic lights in Grimsby. The incident took place on Wellington Street just before 10am today when it is alleged that a man opened the car door of the vehicle, before snatching the handbag, and running off in the direction of Tivoli Gardens while being chased by a member of the public. The stolen bag has been described as a black tapestry type with cat designs on it, and contained a black purse with credit cards and £60 in cash.
