TIL every year Louis Vuitton burns all their left over handbags and accessories to preserve the high-class nature

Just my bits on luxury branding. To begin I live in China where even my cleaning lady tends to walk around with an LV. Anyone who can afford buying an LV will do so preferably with the classic checkered pattern and big LV on it so you can clearly see it's an LV. But LV is more the typical design, they actually release every year a new line which is the less obvious but also more expensive. I tend to consider these a bit nicer, maybe less "en masse" produced knowing though that probably of those also millions of bags are being sold and even more copies. But this goes for all popular brands, LV, Prada, Dior, Gucci are brands Chinese love but they all have several lines, the cheap big brand tagged line up to the high end for Prada for example black line where you can't tell it's Prada unless you look into the shoes.
